There are good motorway connections to make staying at the White House Guesthouse in Ross-on-Wye advantageous for the businessman or lady, 2 hours from Heathrow/Manchester, as well as for people coming to the area touring.

Our superb bed and breakfast accommodation is equally popular with tourists and people visiting Ross-on-Wye on business. We think that this is owing to its location (adjacent to the river/just a short 1 minute walk from the town centre) and to our tasteful decoration. We are confident that our careful attention to detail will make your stay a pleasure in our luxury B&B with hotel standards.

For the lady business traveller, we are aware of your needs and make every effort to make you feel at ease in our guest house. It is the ideal guest house accommodation base from which to explore some of the Wye Valley's finest scenery (AONB), surrounding towns/villages and to enjoy fishing for salmon or coarse fish. Shad can be caught outside the front door. Alternatively you can ramble alongside the wonderful River Wye Valley and or in the Forest of Dean. For a very pleasant day out why not try for a nice cup of tea at Rose Cottage in Symonds Yat and a trip on the river. You can go canoeing or bird watching, or shooting, for the golfers, we are close to a number of courses and for riders, there area number of local yards for hacking. For Cheltenham racing please book early Gold Cup and Paddy Power.

The White House Guest House in Herefordshire was built around 1720 as a Custom House, but the site had been built on previously and the cellar vaults are reputed to have been built originally in around 1210.
